Back in Stockholm

And a crispy & sunny sunday. It ended with the "interesting" last film of the filmfestival (the day before we went to see the depressing The Unloved about abandoned abused children with a pre-film about young homeless drug-addicted-HIV-positive-kids-in-Ukraine...mamma mia.) "Trash Humpers". And it was crap. i can't say anything else. I wanted to leave after 20 minutes but still I thought that it might change. But it didn't. A lot of people left though.

On internet people say it's a great film. Probably because it's made by Harmony Korine. That's why I went to see it:

1) He wrote Kids, Ken Park and made Gummo that is super.
2) He WAS young and kind of cute.
3) He had a relationship for a long time with Chloe Sevigny. She was then with Vincent Gallo. That is kind of cool so it keeps up these people's hipster-factor.
4) I saw him at a gallery opening in New York last summer togeter with all his Vice-like friends.
5) I saw Mr. Lonely the same night. It was great. But this was afterwards.

But:
1) 1 1/2 hour of noisemaking disgustingly ugly people that fuck trashcans when they don't kill dolls or eat pancakes with soap.
2) Really bad VHS image. That's the point, I know, and thank's God because some scenes you don't want to see in a high quality picture.
3) No story at all. You ask yourself about the point with the whole thing and the answer is probably the 5 points listed above.
4) I do laughed a bit sometimes. More because of embarassment than joy.
