Last week...

Wednesday: Working/drawing at home all day long listening to Sonic Youth with the raining pouring down outside my window. I have never seem so much rain and thunder as this summer.

Tuesday: Paola took pictures of me all day long and I realized that I really miss having a proper home and nice friends. It's also a little bit sad that I got to know Paola now and not earlier cos she seems a really nice person. Or I often find what I want to find in the persons I meet, what I'm looking for in that moment. Met up with Luca & Mauro and we went to the Surfers place to eat crappy seafood. Last time it was really good. And then, probably the last poolgame at the Gutter in a long long time. Mauro won big time.

Monday: We went to the stadium in Queens to see Mets-Rockies. People had two junk-food meals during the 3 and a halfhour long game. In the beginning it was a little bit boring, really slow and I needed some time to catch the rules but the last hour was really exciting and then Mets won 7-3. I wanted them to win because of Paul Auster, it makes sense, I think he is a great writer and I don't know anything about baseball.
Pettibon-drawing of a baseball-player.
Mets mascot. I fell in love.

Sunday: In the really sunny afternoon we went to see And they will know us by the trail of death down by the water. I was a little bit disappointed and expected a little bit more from them. It was Ben & Mikes birthday so they thew another BBQ at Mikes house at Greenpoint. Of course it started to rain, the whole sky fell down and it was a lot of electrical stuff around and water everywhere so we ended up in the apartment on the last floor.

Later on Manhattan and SWAY and what I thought was a night they played only the Smiths but the DJ was one from the Smiths and he played a little bit of everything. Fabulous place and good-looking people. Chloe Sevigny was there and she looked cool as ever in a white tutu-like dress and her hair put in some kind of Mickey Mouse ears on her head and it seems like she likes my friend, or at least she was dancing with him and he seemed quite happy with that. She wore her she shoes she made for Opening Ceremony and yes, they look great and are too f***ng expensive.
I'd love to have Antonella's shoes, but in black.

Like a virgin.

Saturday: Block party in Bushwick. Where all the alternative hipsters live in beautiful huge superexpensive-but-looks-like-squat-lofts. One day I will have a window like that in my home. I love big windows.

We're gonna fight for our right to party-kind of thing.
